What is LOVE?? What does it truly mean to love to someone? What exactly does it mean to love yourself? Love is one of the most powerful emotions that we experience in our lives. And yet it seems that we are always searching for it. Why are we searching though, when love lives within us? Love can bring us a tremendous amount of joy and happiness, as well as pain. This is where things get confusing. Love is not supposed to hurt or feel negative in any way. So then why does it hurt sometimes? When we love someone, it seems that they have a power over us. So when that someone that we love does something that does not line up with our expectations, we feel hurt, we feel let down. We get angry. But real love does not really feel this way. This is something that I’ve had to learn and re-learn many times over. Love is not conditional. Love is everlasting. It just is. Truly loving is not neediness or the allowing of others to violate us in any way.
I believe that real love is acceptance without judgment. I believe that it is not trying to change others to suit our picture of how they should be. It isn’t dependence on others or external sources for our emotional well-being. Love is being one with your source; your inner being. Love in a relationship is when two whole people come together and honor and respect each other. Love is peace, love is bliss.
Ask anyone if they love themselves and most people will reply with a resounding, “well of course I do”. But do they really? What I have learned on my spiritual journey is that love is a process. My definition of love is ever changing and ever evolving. It’s something that I work on each day. I try to fill my thoughts with love and send out love to others whenever I think about it. Love resides within us. We do not have to search for it outwardly. When we get into alignment with ourselves and we are OK with who we are, you feel that love. Acceptance of Self. When you truly feel that you are ok just as you are, that is love. When you accept others as they are, that is love. We are all deserving of love in our lives. But it starts within,
not without. If we want to attract love into our lives, we must first love being with ourselves. I have learned to enjoy and savor my time spent alone. It is a time of joy and renewal. My staying connected with me. Now it is a must for me. The little time I take for myself is a precious time for me to stay rooted in me and not lose myself in the world and the things going on around me. I honor my “me time” and look forward to it. What I have found is that the more I show love to others without condition, the more that I love myself, it results in attracting more love into my life without effort. It just happens. Love is simple, but complicated at the same time. I am still learning. Love, yourself, love others, love life, love the world, and love will always be present in your life. You are wonderful, I’ve started the blog WayaLove.com 6 months ago and I was trying at the time to capture the essence of love. Recently The love within me start changing like some kind of friendly alien within me. That is so strange to feel like something inside me is growing. 7 days ago I have for the first time of my life spontaneously said that I love myself and as incredible as it can be people around me treat me differently, they may receive something from me, I try each day to meditate in bed to reach, discover, get in touch… I don’t know exactly what. I also experience something extraordinary I wrote a post about it on wayaworld.com the title is: savassanna bliss. The feeling I experienced was so intense, I would like to find someone who can understand what happened that day.
I also do positive affirmation to see where all this is going to lead.

Angelwaya, that is so great to hear. It sounds like you had an internal shift. I believe that this shift may have come about due to your blog. You are putting your energy in that direction so that is what you have attracted. What a wonderful thing. Love is really strange.. first it’s just a word and for each and everyone of use expresses a different feeling… that’s why feelings are hard to express in words!

Wow that was really a nice post. when i was reading this post i felt that there is love within us but we rather take love as a practical rather then just a feeling.It is said that love marriage does not last for ever…Why is it so.if a couple love each other then why their marriage does not last for ever why they have conflict in them everytime.This is because today love is taken practical rather than just a feeling. Today in current generation men will consider the body of women & women will consider man’s status & his physical appearance no matter how the man’s background is. Now a days girls wont consider how much a man’s heart is pure, they think mens flirting with girl think that men love them & will ignore a person who really love from their heart & in this confusion they get busted & break their heart.
Of all my experience i ve learned that girls Will ignore a person who loves her from his heart, but she will run after a man whom she loves.
