I would like to say that it is with tremendous gratitude and honor that I humbly accept the award given to me by Mother Maitri of the Compassionate Bloggers Circle. When I initially got started with blogging, it was my intention to share my thoughts, ideas and spiritual journey with as many people as possible with the hopes of improving as many lives as I could. I didn’t know, nor was I really focused on how things would pan out. I just knew that I had all these wonderful concepts and ideas that had improved my life and I knew that it could do the same for others, if only they just knew. I got started in January this year, sharing my spiritual journey, with little expectations except to do my very best and connect with like-minded people that were a perfect match for the information that I wanted to share. I had no idea what I was doing or how well received my blog would be. I am not a writer in any shape or form. When I sit down to write about a subject, I just let it flow from my heart. I truly hope that in the future I will be able to continue to deliver and share information that others will be receptive to and find value in.
Since joining the blogosphere, I have sought out and found so many wonderful treasures of spiritual blogs out there. I find such inspiration in reading their beautiful words. These blogs keep me encouraged and steadfast on my journey to be a better person. I consider myself to be “the new kid on the block”, if you will, and being able to connect with these spiritual warriors simply makes my heart sing. These brothers and sisters of mine share the same goal in many ways. The common thread that I see throughout is our goal to make people happy. To add just a little something positive to others’ daily lives. What an awesome feeling it is to be recognized by your peers. To all of you, thank you for what you do and thank you for making this world a better place. We are all one family and I look forward to strengthening our relationships.
And last but certainly not least, words cannot express the surprise and deep gratitude that I feel to know that what I am writing is having a positive impact on others. I am truly humbled to be recognized by someone that I have so much respect for. When I first happened upon the Compassionate Bloggers Circle, I was so impressed I immediately wanted to be a part of it. In my last post, Raising Our Consciousness, I talked about “The Hundredth Monkey Theory” and reaching that critical mass where by virtue of living in a more awakened state and harnessing the innate powers each of us hold, we expand the consciousness of all beings on this planet. Mother Maitri’s mission to bring about more compassion in this world, is a shining example of this theory. Through her works and the works of others out there like her, all of humanity will one day reach and live their fullest potential. I am so grateful for souls like hers. Mother Maitri, I thank you for this award and I hope that I will continue to make others feel good and live better lives through reading this blog.

Your work is so filled with love it inspires me and I feel the river of grace flowing deep inside my heart. You are so right. The blogging world has so many kindred spirits in it that it is a feast of riches. I love the Compassionate Blogger’s Circle, just to be part of a space with so many loving, caring souls. I imagine a huge round table, big enough to give a space to all the loving people in the world that would join us. And our works are interwoven and span out across the globe, as if we were holding hands, circling the planet. May we grow and continue…
