From her book I got the idea of writing love letters to myself, writing to my mate, writing for all kinds of stuff. It is a really awesome real with practical tips that you can put into action. It sounds like it would be a good companion for attracting that mate.

You could meet the man of your dreams tomorrow, but you have to be ready. I also believe in lists. They are powerful. Describe everything you want in your mate and leave no stone unturned. You will be surprised at how this will manifest.

Oh and last thing, don't forget to detach yourself from the outcome. Just know in your heart that it has already happened.

Writing a list is a great idea. I know what I want in a mate. I think writing a list will serve as a reminder when I come across different men.

I tried to buy Write It Down Make It Happen over the weekend but the store didn't have any in stock. Now I have to order it from Amazon. I'm finally reading Secrets of Attraction and this time around, I'm getting more out of it. I think I'm in a place now where it makes sense. I think my first attempt was too much: Just tell me what to do to get what I want! lol I was way too attached to the end result.

Today was progress day with my friend that I mentioned in an earlier post. I completely forgot I asked her to ask me about it every couple of months. That was an awkward moment but I'm glad she called me out! hehe Although I've been enjoying life more, I still haven't broken out of the routine so I'm still seeing the same people for the most part. I'm working on that, though.

I met a woman who did something similar from a Christian perspective. However, as she told me the story, I realized it was LOA in action.

She was at the end of the story with her then husband (an addict, abusive, etc.) He was in a coke-laced rage and she was finding solace in the bedroom. She says she walked to the mirror, held on tight, looked at herself, and talked directly to God. She told him she would not deal with that man out there anymore and she would wait for him to send her another husband. But when you do God....from there she described EVERYTHING she wanted from the state of the man's head to the size of his penis.

And she got him. And she is married to him today.

As she told me the story (or reenacted it)...it was sort of like watching a stageplay, I got chills because I heard in her voice the absolute state of faith and surrender she was in.

Now, I was not raised going to a traditional church nor am I religious today. However, I understand it's sort of like talks about God: call it what you like we are all talking about the same force.

So I took with me that when I am ready (done with the past and fully believing I DESERVE my divine mate) I will slip into that state of Faith and Surrender. In the meantime, I am with you all: getting clear, finding my process, living in the love that lives in me.
